I hate Spanx. They don't really make you look any smaller, just more squished in. Like a sausage. I wish this ridiculous trend would just go away. Of course if you were tight clothing your bulges are going to show and a tube of spandex really isn't the way to solve the problem. Remember Edina on AbFab squeezed into clothes a size to small for her in the misguided notion that they made her look younger? And if the discomfort isn't enough what about the embarassment of trying to remove one in front of your special someone.
Look, just buy your clothes a size bigger and throw away the damn Spanx already! If you really must compress yourself how about a corset. It's much sexier before and after the clothes come off as well as easier to remove. There are many lovelies for sale on Etsy.
